How to create tasks on cards

  1. From an Aptlet board, click on a card where you'd like to add tasks.
  2. Under Tasks, type in the task.
  3. Hit Enter, or click Save.
  4. Add as many tasks as you'd like.

How to assign and set due dates on tasks

  1. Once you've created a task, click the person icon to assign a teammate to the task.
  2. Click the calendar icon, and select a due date for the task.

The assignee will receive a notification they've been assigned to a task. 

💡 Make sure to invite the assignee to the board before assigning them tasks. You won't be able to assign tasks to someone who doesn't have access to the board.

How to create task templates

  1. From an Aptlet board, click on a card where you'd like to create a task template.
  2. Make sure the tasks listed are what you want on the template. If not, edit the tasks on the card.
  3. Click the overflow icon next to Tasks (three vertical dots).
  4. Click Save as Template.
  5. Create a title for the task template
  6. Check Include Assignees to automatically assign to a specific user each time
  7. Check the box if you'd like to make this task list the default for all newly created cards on the board.
  8. Click Save.

How to add task templates to a card

  1. Click the card where you'd like to add a task template.
  2. Click the overflow icon next to Tasks (three vertical dots).
  3. Click Load Template.
  4. Select the template you'd like to add.
  5. Click Load.

You can have multiple task templates for each board.
