The repeating feature automates the creation of Aptly cards for repeated tasks, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Simply set the schedule on a card and Aptly will automatically make an exact copy of that card on a given date and time.

How to Create a Repeating Card
Identify the card that you'd like to repeat on any board and click the corresponding option from the More menu on the card detail.
Cards can be repeated Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly. Every time the card ‘repeats’, it will be copied to the board you selected. Repeated cards have the following options:
Repeat cards on a weekly basis or have them created after a designated number of weeks (ie. every other week, every three weeks, etc).
Monthly repeating cards can we create on a designated day.
Yearly repeating cards let you manage important year-end or annual tasks.

Choose from weekly, monthly, or yearly. Each option will include options for when and the time they will be created.
Set a card to repeat immediately based on your schedule or at some future date.
Set your card to repeat indefinitely or stop after a certain count or date.
Designate the stage for which the repeated card should appear.
Set an optional due date on your card for when you want it completed.
Identifying Repeating Cards
You can easily identify those cards that are scheduled to repeat from the various views of your Aptly board and the detail of the card.

How to Remove Repeating Cards
From the board, select the Board's Setting ⚙️ icon
Go to the Automation section
Find the Repeating Card automation and click the X to remove it completely.
Modifying or Deleting a Card Repeating Schedule
The original card that you used to create the repeating automation serves as a template for all future cards. If the original template card is deleted, the automation recurrence will be deleted as well.
To modify the repeating automation on any card:
Click the settings icon in the upper right corner of any board with a repeating card automation.
Click the Automations option from the settings menu
Click the Edit option from the More menu. Additionally, you can delete the repeating automation from this menu
You can click to view the template card or make a modification to the repeating automation. When you are done, click the Save button.
